Demetrius Ivory
Demetrius Ivory provides daily forecasts during Channel 4 Action News This Morning, from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays and again at 5 p.m.

He is an Ohio native and a graduate of The Ohio State University. He holds a degree in atmospheric sciences with a minor in computer science.

Prior to joining WTAE-TV Channel 4, Demetrius was a meteorologist with WYTV in Youngstown, Ohio, and the chief meteorologist at WOHL in Lima, Ohio.

His most memorable television moment was going on live during the devastating Clark, Pa., tornado event of 2002. A year later, as they toured the damage, the borough mayor thanked Demetrius for providing warning.

Ivory's hobbies include creating artwork, running, playing football and producing music in his home studio. He is an avid moviegoer, whose favorite movie is "Braveheart," and a vinyl music collector. His favorite food is Indian and his favorite book is "Before the Mayflower."

In addition to his lifelong passion for weather, Demetrius takes an active role in his community and the OSU Meteorology Club.
