2009 RUFFSDALE, Pa. -- State police in Westmoreland County have charged a woman with assault, after she allegedly hit a trooper in the face with a cordless telephone.According to WTAE's news exchange partners at the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, police responded to a domestic dispute at the Valley Hi Trailer Park.Police said Heather Renee Show, of Ruffsdale, had been fighting with her boyfriend. When police arrived at the home, Show, 26, allegedly hit Trooper David McClintock with the phone, the Trib reported.Show was arraigned before District Judge J. Bruce King and taken to the Westmoreland County Prison.Show, who posted bail, faces a preliminary hearing on Nov. 25.
