Lightning Strikes Four West Kittanning Homes

Severe Storms Move Through Pittsburgh Area

Lightning struck four homes in Armstrong County on Monday night.

Firefighters responded to calls on Pine Hill Road, Lincoln Avenue, Sioux Avenue and Garfield Street in West Kittanning.

Authorities said a homeowner lost his microwave and another homeowner's breakers were tripped.

Some trees snapped in half in the area. No one was reported injured.
