Most recently, Harrison sacked quarterback Brett Favre twice and had seven tackles in the Steelers' 27-17 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

Harrison is second in the NFL with 8 sacks, trailing only Denver Broncos linebacker Elvis Dumervil (10).

The six-year linebacker has collected 41 tackles, six assists and four forced fumbles through seven games this season.

His 35 solo tackles are tops on the Steelers defense.

Harrison previously picked up a player of the month award in November 2007 and also earned NFL defensive player of the year honors last season.
