PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers had one of the NFL's easiest schedules in 2007 -- but that won't be the case again in 2008.According to the schedule released by the NFL on Tuesday, eight of Pittsburgh's 16 games are against playoff teams -- including the Super Bowl champion New York Giants and the New England Patriots, whom the Giants beat to win the title.Division champions Dallas, Indianapolis, San Diego and Jacksonville are also on the schedule, along with wild cards Tennessee and Washington.
The Steelers will travel to Philadelphia for an intrastate matchup to determine Pennsylvania bragging rights. And, as always, the Steelers will play two games each against AFC North division rivals Cleveland, Cincinnati and Baltimore.Former broadcaster Myron Cope, who died in February, will be honored before the season opener against Houston at Heinz Field.
