PITTSBURGH -- A big question on the mind of many Steelers fans is whether safety Troy Polamalu will be on the team next year.
Watch the Interview
Four years ago, Polamalu was drafted No. 1 by the team and at the end of this year, his contract is up.
Since then, Polamalu has made three Pro Bowl appearances and earned a Super Bowl ring. When it comes to players they want to re-sign, the Steelers have strongly indicated that Polamalu is a priority. On Wednesday, after the team held its second optional team activity, Polamalu said he could not foresee a scenario where he wouldn't continue his career in black and gold.Polamalu said he's not worried about the length of his new deal, should he get one. He said he's not worried about the dollar amount either. That's what he said he pays his agent for."I'm not oblivious to what's going on, but for the most part, that's what you pay your agents for," said Polamalu. "I'm not going to deal with numbers too much. I've played four years here, going on my fifth year, so that's all I want to do is just play football and let him handle the business part of it."
