Meghan Jones

Meghan Jones joined the Channel 4 Action News team in January 2001 as a general assignment reporter and was promoted to Call 4 Action reporter in December 2004.

She was a reporter and anchor at WTRF in Wheeling, W.Va., and she has experience as a TV news writer in Pittsburgh and as a reporter in Johnstown, Pa.

In addition to her reporting experience, Meghan is also an attorney. She graduated from Duquesne University Law School and was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in 2002.

Meghan has experience with consumer protection issues.

While in law school, she served as an intern with the Attorney General's Office Bureau of Consumer Protection, the United States Attorney's Office and Judge Alan N. Bloch of the Federal Western District of Pennsylvania. The experience at those positions provided her with knowledge of consumer protection problems and ways to solve them.

An article written by Meghan on the subject of restitution damages was published in Duquesne University's Business Law Journal. She's also an adjunct professor at Duquesne, teaching media law and regulation.

Her favorite movies are "Deconstructing Harry" and "Love and Death."

Among Meghan's favorite restaurants are Davio's in Beechview and Kaya in the Strip District.

Meghan is a native of Upper St. Clair and resides in the South Hills with her husband, Deron.
