Susan Koeppen
Susan Koeppen is the weekend morning anchor of WTAE-TV Action News and the station's Call 4 Action reporter.
Susan joined WTAE in February 2000 and made an immediate impact. Whether the complaints are large or small, she is ready to take action for you.
Unsurprisingly, Susan said the favorite part of her job is having something new to do every day.
A native of Albany, N.Y., Susan is a graduate of Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications with a degree in broadcast journalism.
Prior to WTAE, she was an anchor/reporter at WHEC in Rochester, N.Y.; an anchor/reporter at WKTV in Utica, N.Y.; and a reporter at WNYT in Albany.
Susan has been honored by the Associated Press for general excellence in reporting and best local documentary, an American Women in Radio and Television award and received United Nations Association of Rochester International Media Award.
She speaks several languages, enjoys travel and has been to every continent except Antarctica.
Among her proudest achievements was reporting live from Rome during a visit to see Pope John Paul II.
