PITTSBURGH -- Marcie Cipriani joined WTAE Channel 4 Action News as the Westmoreland County bureau chief in April 2000. She now reports on top stories throughout the Pittsburgh region.
Born and raised in Crafton, Cipriani earned her degree from the University of Tampa and was a reporter for WTVT/WFLA in Tampa, Fla., before coming to Channel 4. Prior to that, she was a reporter at WTOG in Tampa.
"I enjoy meeting new people, learning new things and passing the information I learn on to those in my hometown," she said. "I enjoy coming home to the Pittsburgh area and covering stories that affect my hometown and my family."
Among her hobbies are reading, working out and cheering for the Steelers.
