Ex-Magistrate Faces Another Shoplifting ChargeSullivan Accused in Fort Dix CaseUPDATED: 2:37 p.m. EST March 2, 2000 A former Allegheny County magistrate faces a second shoplifting charge. Maj. John Giovannelli said former Springdale District Justice Gigi Sullivan is accused of taking about $76 worth of merchandise from a military store at Fort Dix, N.J., in July. Sullivan was also charged with shoplifting clothing and other items from a suburban Pittsburgh discount store on Feb. 13. Sullivan is scheduled to be arraigned March 23 on the New Jersey shoplifting charge. Sullivan is free on a $10,000 bond after her arraignment in October on charges of corruption, bribery, forgery and drug offenses. Sullivan was indicted by a state grand jury. Giovannelli said Sullivan is accused of taking a watch and two pairs of jeans from the military store. She was visiting the base with her father, Terrance Sulllivan, who is a retired Army sergeant major.
