The red-hot Penguins struck again on Sunday. Now, they'll look to make it three straight wins over the Flyers Tuesday night 300 miles away in Philadelphia.

Fans who want to make the trip to Philly for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals are looking at a roundtrip flight costing anywhere between $150 and $310, according to Expedia.com.

WTAE Channel 4 Action News reporter Marcie Cipriani went online Monday morning and found tickets to the game at the Wachovia Center being sold for between $150 and $700.

Add in a hotel room and you're looking at an additional $150 to $350 for Tuesday night.

So far in the Stanley Cup playoffs, the Pens are unbeaten in seven games on their home ice and have lost just one of 11 games overall.

The Fans Are Talking

Here's what you're saying about the Pittsburgh-Philadelphia series on ThePittsburghChannel.com's message board.

kelster24 says, "IT'S THE PENGUINS ALL THE WAY BABY! Like it or not Flyers fans!"

GaryTR 05-11-2008, 11:17 AM

GaryTR says, "The Rules committee and half witted referees will allow the FUTURE OF THE NHL, Sid or Geno to be two handed, punched, hit from behind or otherwise molested by a obviously inferior team because hockey has ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY. Sure the Pens started and followed through on the action on Friday, but JUST YOU WAIT AND SEE, the future of the Penguins and more importantly the NHL let alone the careers of 71, 87 could be in jeopardy thanks to the Filthadelphia Flyers."

Jaxlady200 says, "Okay, Philly wake up. Crosby is the consummate player. ... Look at your own players being whiny. Oh, and as for Pgh feeling like the 'other city,' we are the city."

FluffyKat says, "Philadelphia teams get your hopes up. Pittsburgh teams win championships. LET'S GO PENS! Sincerely, a happy Pittsburgh girl married to a disgruntled Philadelphia fan."

Bryan_Mc says, "Let's Go Flyers! hoping for a great series. considering where we finished last year, we're playing with the house's money
flyers in six!"

Reenie16 says, "I agree. Here we go Flyers! Flyers, enough said."

Wagers Put Local Pride On The Line

Allegheny County Chief Executive Dan Onorato and Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter have agreed that the loser of their bet must wear the winner's jersey for a day and drop a ceremonial puck during a game in the other team's city next season.

"And I'm going to make sure he shakes my hand on this bet," said Onorato. "That's how confident I am on this bet."

Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium President Barbara Baker said the Philadelphia Zoo will get 12 Primanti Brothers sandwiches and a case of Iron City beer if the Pens lose.

But if the Pens win, Baker and her staff will receive 12 Philly cheese steaks, pretzels and Hires Root Beer.

Who's Hot?

Malkin is tied with Crosby as the NHL's leading scorer in the playoffs, with 17 points on eight goals and nine assists.

Crosby also has 17 points on four goals and 13 assists.

Marian Hossa, whom the Pens picked up in a last-minute trade deadline deal in February, has been a strong threat in the playoffs with 12 points (six goals and six assists).

And Ryan Malone is right behind Hossa with 11 points (three goals and eight assists).

Philly's top scoring threats are Daniel Briere (eight goals) and Mike Richards (seven goals, including two in Game 1 of the Pens series).
