Myron Cope's medical condition appears to be improving.

The ailing ex-Steelers broadcaster had been at UPMC Presbyterian hospital for nearly two weeks, recovering from pneumonia.

On Thursday morning, his friend, Joe Gordon, told Channel 4 Action News that Cope has left the hospital and entered a rehabilitation facility.

Cope, 77, retired last June after 35 seasons of calling Steelers games on radio. He has had on-and-off bouts with pneumonia in the past year.
