The "Bus" is getting a lot of fanfare from his native Detroit. But there's another Black-and-Gold bruiser who hails from Detroit.

Linebacker Larry Foote grew up there. He lives in the Motor City during the off-season.

Channel Four Action News went to his high school where the all-star made a big mark. Foote's fame lives on.

It has been eight years since Larry walked the hallways of Pershing High School, but his legend continues to grow.

As a high school student, Larry Foote dreamed of making it big. He starred as a Wolverine under coach Lloyd Carr. Now, he's coming home to compete in Super Bowl XL as a Steeler.

One of Larry's high school coaches, Roy Brown, still remembers his play during a game against Finney.

The Steelers picked Larry Foote in the fourth round of the 2002 draft.
