Team spokesman Tom McMillan said the heart attack happened in San Jose, as the Pens were preparing to fly to Boston after a Saturday night game against the Sharks.

Morehouse was taken to a San Jose hospital and was resting on Monday after a procedure to place a stent to open a blockage in an artery.

The Pens said Morehouse was conscious and talking after his heart attack and is expected to make a full recovery.
