Gani Lawal scored 18 points and freshman Derrick Favors added 15 to lead No. 22 Georgia Tech to an 84-76 overtime exhibition win over Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Sunday.

Akida McLain, from Penn Hills High School, had a game-high 31 points and 12 rebounds for Division II IUP.

Julian Sanders' three-pointer for IUP tied the score at 72-72 with 39 seconds to go in regulation.

The Crimson Hawks got the ball again with 3 seconds left, but McLain's shot to win the game at the buzzer fell short.

Darryl Webb and Thomas Young each added 12 points for upset-minded IUP.
