2009 PITTSBURGH -- Redshirt freshman Travon Woodall led all scorers with 21 points on Sunday, as Pitt beat Coker College 83-40 at the Petersen Events Center in the Panthers' final tune-up before the start of the college basketball season.Woodall shot 8-of-10 from the floor -- including 3-of-5 on 3-pointers -- in the exhibition victory over Coker, a Division II school from South Carolina.Pitt's season opener against Wofford is scheduled for 8:10 p.m. Friday at the Petersen Center.The Panthers are rebuilding with a younger team after losing top scorers Sam Young, DeJuan Blair and Levance Fields from the squad that advanced to the Elite Eight in last season's NCAA Tournament.More: Coach Dixon Says Pitt's Rebuilding Project Won't Take LongJunior center Gary McGhee joined Woodall as a double-digits scorer on Sunday, finishing with 13 points in 17 minutes of play.Dwight Miller, another redshirt freshman for Pitt, led all players with eight rebounds.Junior guard Brad Wanamaker filled the stat sheet with eight points, four rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal.More: Big East Conference College Basketball Season Preview
