(Sports Network) - The Houston Texans announced Monday tight end Owen Daniels has signed his one-year restricted free agent tender offer.

Daniels achieved personal bests in catches with 70 and receiving yards with 862 in 2008 while recording two TDs in his first ever Pro Bowl season. He is the franchise's all-time leader among tight ends with 167 career grabs, 1,982 yards and 10 scores over his three seasons in Houston.

A fourth-round pick out of Wisconsin in the 2006 NFL draft by the Texans, the 6-foot-3, 245-pound Daniels, ranked second in the AFC last season among tight ends in receiving yards and first downs (46). He also ranked third among AFC tight ends in receptions and yards per catch.
