PITTSBURGH -- If the Penguins beat Detroit in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, they may owe it to Pittsburgh's newest hockey superstition -- the "Bylsma Burrito."

Coach Bylsma Picks Up Lucky Burrito Before Heading To DetroitAs practice wraps up each day, Pens coach Dan Bylsma has been known to walk from Mellon Arena to the Qdoba restaurant at Grant and Sixth streets for a lucky burrito.
According to a woman at the restaurant, Bylsma stopped in sometime between 12:45 p.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday and ordered a burrito -- which was put on ice -- and then headed out the door as the team prepared to travel to Detroit.
"I always said I don't have superstitions. I just like to do the same thing every day," Bylsma said last week. "When you get into a routine, you feel comfortable and it gets you in the right spot for a game. When you do something and you get a win, you usually duplicate it again."
Qdoba workers know Bylsma enjoys the chili barbecue burrito -- one hot, one mild -- and the word is the Pens have won every home game, except once, when he orders the lucky lunch.
"He's become convinced this is a good-luck charm," said Chad Brooks, of Qdoba.
Based on Brooks' comments before Game 4 in Pittsburgh, he was prepared for this moment.
"If we end up in a Game 7 where we've won all the games at home and he's eaten burritos, I don't see how on God's green earth we're not going to pack up some burritos and take them to Detroit with us. We'll find a way," Brooks said last week.
Penguins players like Matt Cooke and Tyler Kennedy have caught on to the Qdoba craze like their head coach, and the lucky burrito has also developed a following on Facebook.com.
