Bills Agree To Extension With RB Jackson

(Sports Network) - The Buffalo Bills and running back Fred Jackson agreed to terms on a contract extension Wednesday.

Last season with Buffalo he set a career high with 571 rushing yards on 130 carries with three touchdowns and added 37 catches for 317 yards.

Over his three years in the NFL, all with Buffalo, he has gained 871 yards on 188 carries with three scores and added 59 catches for 507 yards.

Jackson will compete with recently-signed Dominic Rhodes to start the season, as Pro Bowl back Marshawn Lynch will be serving a three-game suspension to start the campaign.
