2009 PITTSBURGH -- Dante Taylor, the University of Pittsburgh's five-star basketball recruit, won the skills competition during the annual Powerade JamFest at the University of Miami Monday night.The JamFest -- which also includes slam-dunk and three-point shooting contests -- is held each year before the McDonald's All-American Game featuring the country's top high school seniors.Taylor won the skills challenge -- a new competition this year -- by completing a full-court dribbling and shooting course in 37 seconds.The 6-foot-9 forward from White Plains, N.Y., is Pitt's first truly elite recruit in many years. He'll play for the East team vs. the West in Wednesday night's McDonald's All-American Game.Taylor will be a freshman next season at Pitt, which is faced with a rebuilding year after losing seniors Sam Young, Levance Fields and Tyrell Biggs.
