POSTED: 5:56 pm EST February 20, 2009

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Jeff Reed pleaded guilty to a criminal mischief charge stemming from an early-morning incident at a Westmoreland County Sheetz store.

In the citation, state police said Reed, of the South Side, became angry around 3 a.m. Saturday because there were no paper towels in the bathroom of the convenience store on Route 22 in New Alexandria.

Reed damaged the empty dispenser and yelled at employees, police said.

Reed must pay $320, according to the paperwork from District Judge Mark J. Bilik's office.
