Community College Freshman Dies At Basketball Practice

Tamir Phillips Collapses At Golden Dome

A student-athlete at Community College of Beaver County collapsed and died at practice, the school said.

Basketball player Tamir Phillips, a freshman from Monaca, collapsed during a break in Thursday's practice at the CCBC Golden Dome.

CCBC issued a statement late Monday morning confirming Phillips' death.

The statement did not include the cause of death.
