The highlight of the schedule is the annual "City Game" against Big East powerhouse Pitt, an Elite Eight team from last season's NCAA Tournament.

Although it's Duquesne's turn to host Pitt this year, the game may be played a couple of blocks off campus at Mellon Arena instead of the smaller A.J. Palumbo Center. So far, a news release from Duquesne's athletic department only specifies that the game will be played in Pittsburgh.

Also on the schedule is the first Chuck Cooper Classic -- a Dec. 5 doubleheader at the Palumbo Center in honor of the Dukes' former All-American who broke the NBA color barrier in 1950. West Virginia State will play Davis and Elkins that night, followed by Duquesne vs. Savannah State.
