Friendly wagers are flying between the cities of Pittsburgh and Detroit as the Pens set out to win their first Stanley Cup in more than 15 years.

Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato is offering $1,000 worth of Dick's Sporting Goods equipment and a 52-inch Sony high-definition TV if the Red Wings take out the Pens.

Also on the list are plenty of Mister Rogers books and puppets, Pittsburgh educational DVDs and a print donated by the Andy Warhol Museum.

If the Pens take home the Cup, Detroit's Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano is offering a $1,000 charity donation from the Michigan Regional County of Carpenters and $1,000 worth of Penguins life-size wall graphics from the Fathead company based in Michigan. He is also offering $500 worth of gas from Michigan Fuels and $500 worth of Subway gift cards.

The winning county will donate all of the items to local nonprofit organizations in their hometown.

Another bet has been set between the governors of Pennsylvania and Michigan.

If the Penguins lose, Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell must have a meal of Kowalski sausages, Faygo Rock and Rye pop and Michigan cherries while wearing a Red Wings jersey.

If the Red Wings lose, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm must don a Penguins jersey, and down hot dogs from the Original Hot Dog Shop and a Primanti Bros. sandwich, as well as Eat'n Park cookies.
