Season's Final Poll Ranks Pitt 9th

PITTSBURGH

Pitt's national ranking fell to No. 9 in the season's final Associated Press poll, which was released Monday afternoon.

Connecticut, which beat Pitt for the Big East championship, jumped past the Panthers into seventh place. The Huskies even got one vote for first place.

The Panthers' next game is Friday night against Central Florida in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Pitt is a No. 3 seed in the tournament, while UCF is a No. 14.
