Bar, Restaurant Among New Features At PNC Park This Season

UPDATED: 6:32 pm EDT April 3, 2008

The Hall of Fame Club, a new restaurant and sports bar, will be open for business in the former Outback Steakhouse space in left field at PNC Park this season.

The Pittsburgh Pirates said the new place will be open to all fans with a ticket on game days -- but it will also be open to the general public on days when the team is on the road, and starting 30 minutes after each home game.

It will have retractable glass doors facing the field, and an outdoor patio with a full bar and a canopy overhead, the Pirates said.

Inside, there will be a bar, a lounge chair seating section, 20 flat-screen televisions -- including two 70-inch TVs -- and a stage for live entertainment.

Other new features at the ballpark this year include:

  • All-you-can-eat seats in right field.
  • Larger seats in the Lexus Club section.
  • A remodeled Pirates Outfitters team store.
  • Credit or debit card purchases at any concession or merchandise stand.
