NCAA Game Summary - George Washington At Duquesne

(Sports Network) - Shawn James poured in a game-high 21 points and blocked five shots, leading the Duquesne Dukes to a 92-67 victory over the George Washington Colonials in Atlantic 10 action at the Palumbo Center.

Kojo Mensah added 13 points to go along with six boards and six assists in the Duquesne (13-5, 3-2 A-10) win.

Wynton Witherspoon scored 17 points to pace the Colonials (5-10, 1-4). Rob Diggs tallied 14 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.

The Dukes made good on 54.1 percent of their attempts from the field in the first half, opening up a comfortable 53-32 lead at the break.

The Colonials could not close the gap in the second stanza despite a 50-percent shooting effort from the floor. The Dukes shot at a 45.8-percent clip and converted 14-of-16 from the foul line to coast to the 25-point victory.

The Colonials shot just 41.4 percent from the field, including 1-of-8 from long range in the loss. They also committed 29 turnovers in the game.
