While many MLB stars, including pitcher Roger Clemens and slugger Barry Bonds, were named in George Mitchell's steroids report, Alex Rodriguez's name was not mentioned in the 400-page document. In an interview with "60 Minutes," the Yankees All-Star third baseman told Katie Couric he's never even been tempted to use performance-enhancing drugs, ESPN reported. But Jose Canseco disagrees with the AL MVP's testimony.
"All I can say is the Mitchell report is incomplete. I could not believe that his name was not in the report," Canseco told Fox Business Network.Canseco was one of the first major league players to admit to using performance-enhancing drugs. He detailed his usage in his book, "Juiced," and also named other players that allegedly used steroids, including Mark McGwire.Canseco, a former MVP and Oakland A's slugger, is named in the Mitchell report 105 times.
