Some children got the opportunity to party with the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Dozens of children got the chance to hang out with some of their favorite hockey stars at the Mellon Arena, including Sidney Crosby, Ryan Malone, Sergei Gonchar, Evgeni Malkin, Max Talbot and Jarkko Ruutu.

The children and their families got the exclusive look at a Penguins practice session and got to have lunch with the team.

The children all have life-threatening illnesses, but were happy they got a chance to meet players from their favorite team.

"I think it puts things into perspective for us," said Crosby. "Those kids weren't the only ones enjoying themselves."
