The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking ahead to next season by looking back.

In honor of the Steelers' 75th anniversary, players will wear a throwback-style uniform in two games during the 2007 season.

The new look -- a gold helmet and a black jersey with gold letters, numbers and shoulder striping -- was modeled by wide receiver Hines Ward on Friday morning at Heinz Field.

The anniversary throwbacks will be worn in the Sept. 16 home opener against Buffalo and the Nov. 5 home game against Baltimore, team president Art Rooney said.

In 1994, as part of the NFL's 75th anniversary celebration, the Steelers wore replica throwback jerseys from their inaugural season. The city of Pittsburgh's crest was featured on the front of those primarily yellow uniforms.

Also on Friday, the Steelers announced a fan vote for the franchise's All-Time Team, which will be comprised of the best players ever to wear a Pittsburgh uniform.
