Some Of Pitt Basketball's 2009-10 Opponents Announced

Panthers To Play In Annual Jimmy V Classic

The Pitt men's basketball schedule is slowly coming together for the 2009-2010 season.

Big East Conference opponents have been announced, but dates and times have yet to be finalized.

The "Oakland Zoo" student section is always loud for Pitt Panthers basketball games at the Petersen Center.

In a non-conference game, Pitt will play Indiana in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 8.

Duquesne is expected to be another one of Pitt's non-conference opponents in the annual "City Game," but that matchup has not been officially announced yet.

Also, Pitt is one of four teams in the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic in Kansas City, Mo., on Nov. 23-24. The other teams are Texas, Wichita State and Iowa.
