Highmark Healthy High 5 is a five-year, $100 million children's health promotion of the Highmark Foundation. The initiative's goal is to improve the health of children and adolescents ages 6-18 by providing them with the tools and practices needed to live healthier lives by making informed choices.
WTAE and Highmark Healthy High 5 have joined together to bring you programs and stories that you see on WTAE. You'll be able to get helpful, insightful information on the five Highmark Healthy High 5 areas that are critical to children's health—nutrition,
physical activity, grieving, self-esteem and bullying prevention. We are encouraging
parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles to join in the various discussion groups, view online resources or ask a Highmark Healthy High 5 professional a specific question about your situation.
