Sen. Barack Obama's lead in the race for president has been cut in Pennsylvania by Sen. John McCain, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll.

Obama continues to hold a 7-point lead in Pennsylvania, but that is down from 12 points in June.

The poll also showed that Pennsylvania voters support drilling in the Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge by 55 to 41 percent.

Many voters said they cared more about energy issues than the war in Iraq.
