Hudler Leaves Red Wings For Dynamo Moscow

(Sports Network) - Detroit Red Wings forward Jiri Hudler has signed a two-year contract to play for Dynamo Moscow.

The Detroit Free Press reports Hudler was offered as much as $5 million per year, tax exempt, to play in Russia.

The 25-year-old Hudler had 23 goals and 34 assists in his most productive season during the 2008-09 campaign. He has 52 goals and 75 assists since breaking into the NHL with the Red Wings in 2003-04.
