Steelers Sign LB Keyaron Fox

POSTED: 2:35 pm EDT April 6, 2009

(Sports Network) - The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed free agent linebacker Keyaron Fox to a one-year contract.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Fox recorded 21 special teams tackles in 13 games for the Steelers in 2008 after spending his first four NFL seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, playing primarily on special teams and as a backup. He was a third-round pick in the 2004 NFL Draft out of Georgia Tech.

In 53 career games with the Chiefs and Steelers, Fox has 100 tackles, a sack and a pass defensed.
