RB Mewelde Moore Signs With Steelers

Free agent running back Mewelde Moore signed a three-year contract with the Steelers on Monday. Financial terms were not released.

The 5-foot-11, 209-pound Moore has played all four of his NFL seasons with the Minnesota Vikings.

Moore has 1,285 career yards rushing, and an average of 4.9 yards per carry, with one touchdown.

He also has 116 catches for 1,093 yards and three touchdowns.

In addition to providing depth behind starting running back Willie Parker, Moore could compete for a job returning kicks, which he did in Minnesota.
