Fountain Runs Colored Water For Breast Cancer Awareness

Pink water will flow through the Point State Park fountain in October to observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Every year in October, the water in Point State Park's fountain runs pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The colored water began running Thursday morning.

  • The Pennsylvania Commission for Women is sponsoring the pink fountain displays in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and other cities across the state.

    Pink is a symbol for breast cancer survivors, research and prevention.
