2006 PITTSBURGH -- Google is introducing a new online tool to help people negotiate Allegheny County's public transit system.The company has been working with the Port Authority to produce a local version of its Google Transit trip planner, which launched on Tuesday.The transit tool includes schedules and graphics to help users quickly find what bus or trolley to catch, where to catch it and how long it will take to reach their destinations.Google Transit uses the same interface as the one used in Google Maps.In addition to Pittsburgh, the new transit tool is being launched in Seattle, Wash.; Eugene, Ore.; Tampa, Fla., and Honolulu.
