Duquesne University shooting suspect William Holmes, 18, of Penn Hills was back in court Friday for a bond hearing.

The judge decided not to make a decision until the preliminary hearing. Holmes' defense attorney said he is confident a "second version" of what happened the night of the shootings will eventually surface.

Holmes turned himself in to police Wednesday.

Brandon Baynes, 18, and Brittney Jones of Penn Hills were arrested earlier this week in connection with the shooting. All three will face a preliminary hearing next week.

Holmes and Baynes are both face charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and criminal conspiracy.

Jones, a Katrina evacuee and Duquesne student, has been suspended from school and, according to the criminal complaint, charged with conspiracy.
