2006 PITTSBURGH -- One man suspected of shooting five students after a dance at Duquesne University was arrested Tuesday morning, and Pittsburgh police said they were looking for a second alleged gunman.William Holmes, 18, of Penn Hills, is considered armed and "extremely dangerous," police said at a noontime news conference. He is wanted on charges of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, carrying a firearm without a license and criminal conspiracy.Brandon Baynes, 18, also of Penn Hills, was arrested early Tuesday and arraigned later that evening on five counts of attempted homicide. His bond was set at $250,000 straight cash, and he was ordered to undergo psychological evaluations.Brittany Jones, a 19-year-old sophomore student from Penn Hills, was also arrested. Police said she helped six men get into the school dance, knowing that some of them were armed, and allegedly asked the doorman if they were searching partygoers.Police did not mention Jones during the news conference and refused to take questions, saying that they needed to protect their investigation.The victims, all members of the Duquesne men's basketball team, were leaving the dance at the student union and walking back toward the dorms when gunfire broke out at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday, according to police."It seemed like the bullets never stopped coming," Aaron Jackson, one of those injured, told The Associated Press.Sam Ashaolu is in critical condition at Mercy Hospital with bullet fragments in his head, while Stuard Baldonado is in fair condition awaiting surgery to remove a bullet from his back. Shawn James, Kojo Mensah and Jackson have been released. Related: Players Describe The Shooting Some of the victims have said that the shots were fired by a non-student who attended the dance with Jones and was angered by her flirting with a team member.Upon further investigation, police determined that there were two shooters, identifying them as Bayne and Holmes.Many people who went to the party, promoted by the Black Student Union as "College Bash '06," were either students from nearby schools or not college students at all.Jones, who was released on $2,000 bond, was the subject of a WTAE Channel 4 Action News report last year.She was a student at Xavier University in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit.
