Stuard Baldonado, 6-foot-7, 250-pound power forward, a junior, native of San Andres, Colombia, 21 years old; regarded as one of the top 40 junior college players in the nation. He is considered Duquesne's best incoming recruit from the Class of 2006

Shawn James, a 6-foot-10 forward, junior, native of Brooklyn, N.Y; 23. James was the nation's leading shot blocker last year while playing for coach Ron Everhart at Northeastern in Boston. James, who turned 23 earlier this month, was born in the West Indies and moved to New York City in 1990. James is ineligible to play for Duquesne this year.

Kojo Mensah, 6-foot-1, 180-pound guard, junior, 21, native of Brooklyn N.Y.; transferred to Duquesne last month after a bitter departure from Siena.
