Deadline For Flight 93 Memorial Input NearsPOSTED: 6:26 pm EDT July 21, 2006 Public input for the Flight 93 memorial in Somerset County is winding down.The National Park Service held its final public meeting Thursday night. It will continue to accept written comments on the memorial until mid-August.The final design has been modified slightly after critics complained that the shape of the memorial reflects Islamic symbolism.Construction of the new memorial is expected to begin in 2008.
