The Major League Baseball All-Star Game drew 38,000 people to PNC Park -- and plenty more just hung around the North Side, checking out the buzz.

Fans partied late into the night, and city crews worked hard to clean up from all the fun.

Highways were congested early Wednesday, packed with traffic headed out of the city and to Pittsburgh International Airport.

They had to drive through a downpour of rain that had been feared but luckily held off for Tuesday night's game.

The airport was experiencing morning delays, and cab companies were having problems supplying enough cars to get visitors out of the city, Channel 4 Action News reporter Gus Rosendale said.

Airport spokeswoman JoAnn Jenny told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that Wednesday morning was as busy as the Monday after Thanksgiving weekend, "and then some."
