A 12-year-old Greene County girl was found in a 6-foot grave late Saturday, FBI and Pennsylvania State Police officials said.

Gabrielle Bechen had been missing since she went riding on an all-terrain vehicle on Tuesday morning in Dunkard Township, near Waynesburg.

Her body was found not far from her home, authorities said.

Police said the ATV she had been riding was partially buried in a large manure dumpsite about a mile from her body.

Jeffrey Robert Martin, 48, a caretaker on the farm where her body was found, was charged with her murder, investigators said.

He was charged with criminal homicide and several other charges, which weren’t immediately known.
