The search continued Thursday for a 12-year-old Greene County girl who has been missing for more than two days.

Gabrielle Miranda Bechen was last seen Tuesday morning on an all-terrain vehicle near Presock Road in Dunkard Township, not far from Waynesburg, police said.

At least 200 people are in on the search for Bechen, authorities said.

Police are on foot looking for the girl, while helicopters scan the area from above and police dogs sniff for clues. Volunteers are also covering ground on ATVs.

Police said they have set up tents so they can continue searching all night if necessary.

"It's pretty bad territory here," said Dave Prichard, of the Bobtown Fire Department. "Been timbered out throughout the years, heavy ground cover, mountains, hollows. If she did slip and fall into one of them, it could take numerous hours to find her."

Rescue crews have expanded their search to a 5-mile radius.
