2006 LATROBE, Pa. -- The news hit Latrobe hard last week: Anheuser-Busch is buying the Rolling Rock beer recipe and brand name, but not the local plant.Now, supporters of the Latrobe Brewing Co. are rallying to save their plant, which is the city's largest taxpayer. Video: Channel 4 Action News reporter Jennifer Miele said the event started at about noon Tuesday at Dino's Sports Lounge on Route 30.According to Latrobe Brewing, another buyer has until July 31 to come forward. Otherwise, the plant will shut down and more than 200 people will lose their jobs.A group called the Coalition of Concerned Citizens of the Greater Latrobe Area has four steps they're taking to achieve a singular goal -- to keep Rolling Rock in Latrobe.The action plan includes:
