Police in Blairsville, Indiana County, said they still don't know why someone killed Dr. John Yelenic Jr. nearly two weeks ago.

But they've turned to a document that they hope will yield clues: the 39-year-old dentist's will.

Yelenic was planning to change his will in connection with his divorce, which was awaiting a judge's signature to make it final when he was found dead at home on April 13, his attorney said.

Investigators told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that they found the will in Yelenic's safe on Tuesday, but won't say whether it generated new leads in the case.

Authorities believe Yelenic likely knew his killer, but Blairsville Police Chief Donald Hess isn't saying what leads they are pursuing. He also said police aren't sure if whoever confronted Yelenic meant to kill him.
