Estella is a three-year old African grey. Her family is very pleased, after months of working with her to get her to cheer on the Steelers.

"Go Steelers," said Estella.

"My son came home from college, my other son was here, and they thought it would be a good idea to teach her to say something about the Steelers, so they just started saying it," said Ed Simmers, Estella's owner.

Estella loves the excitement of the game. So now she requests to watch football.

"Let's watch football," said Estella.

"I said what are we going to do when the Steelers win, and she says 'pop the cork!'," said Simmers.

"I takes a lot of work. If you think you are going to get one and put it in a cage and it will be cute, it will learn to talk, that's wrong," said Simmers

African grey birds are very sensitive. Estella gets very uneasy around strangers. Her owners had to set up a hidden camera to catch her in action.

Estella' s family stresses that it wasn't easy to get her to learn all of those new words, but they say she'll learn even more and keeping watching the more the Steelers win.

Her next challenge is "one for the thumb."
