Anti-abortion protestors visited Pittsburgh City Council on Wednesday, speaking out against the so-called buffer zones that the city wants to create around health facilities.

On Monday, the anti-abortion group paraded outside the City County Building protesting the measure. Proponents of the measure say it is a public safety issue.

The ordinance regulates activities on the public sidewalks outside places that perform abortions and offer birth control options, among others.

The ordinance won approval in a preliminary vote Wednesday afternoon.

It will now go to a final vote next Tuesday.
