The Rolling Stones: A Complete Concert Guide

Preparations are under way for the big Rolling Stones concert Wednesday night at PNC Park.

The following concert guide details what fans need to know before heading out the door.

Ticket Information:

Tickets are available in advance at tickets.com, (877) 848-4099, or at the PNC Park box office starting at 8:30 a.m. All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket in order to enter the ballpark.

Buyer Beware

Customers should always purchase tickets from authorized ticket outlets. Counterfeit tickets will be confiscated and admission to the concert and PNC Park will be denied.

Will Call Window:

This is located at the main PNC Park Box Office, at the corner of General Robinson and Federal Streets. Will Call windows will be open at noon.

Parking and Traffic Information

Concert parking will be available at surrounding lots near PNC Park. All lots will be open for concert goers at 2:30 p.m. Downtown commuter parking will be available until 9:30 a.m. only. Additional parking is also available downtown just a short walk across the Roberto Clemente Bridge.

The Clemente Bridge and Federal Street will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at noon. Both will reopen when pedestrian traffic is cleared after the concert.

Gate Time and Showtime:

Gates to PNC Park will open at 5:30 p.m. The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Pearl Jam.

What Gates Should Field Ticket Holders Enter?

Concert ticket holders can use any of the four available PNC Park gates - Home Plate Gate, two Left Field Gates (one at the Willie Stargell statue and the other on General Robinson St.), Center Field Gate (near the Clemente statue).

For quick and easy access, field ticket holders should use either of the two (2) Left Field Gates (Willie Stargell statue or General Robinson St.), or the Center Field Gate (Clemente statue) off Federal Street. Once field ticket holders enter PNC Park, they should look for clearly marked field section markers located on the field.



Concert and Venue Policies:

  • No bags, backpacks or fanny packs of any kind will be permitted into PNC Park with the exception of women's handbags. Women's handbags will be searched prior to entering PNC Park.
  • No cameras, audio and/or video recording devices of any kind or laser pens will be permitted into PNC Park. PNC Park personnel will not be responsible for "checking in" any of these items. You will be asked to return these items to your car so simply leave these items at home. Binoculars are permitted.
  • Concert attendees are not permitted to bring in bottles, cans, plastic containers, coolers or any food or beverage items into PNC Park for the concert. PNC Park concession stands will be open. Alcoholic beverages will be sold with valid identification.
  • Concert attendees are not permitted to bring in fireworks or weapons of any kind into PNC Park.
  • PNC Park will adhere to a strict No Readmission Policy. Once you leave the facility after entering, you will not be permitted to re-enter the facility.


  • Weather Policy:

    The concert will go on rain or shine. Attendees are not permitted to bring umbrellas into PNC Park. Bring a raincoat if inclement weather is forecasted.

    Concert Merchandise Sales:

    Official Rolling Stones tour merchandise will be available inside and outside PNC Park at clearly designated locations. Outdoor merchandise stands will be located on Federal Street and Bill Mazeroski Way. Purchase concert merchandise from these authorized and designated vendors only.
